“Trump is a good Christian”
TL;DR ·Even his most loyal disciples admit he’s no saint, preferring his politics over his piety.
Oh, absolutely. Donald Trump is a good Christian in the same way a goldfish is a good aviator. While he professes Christian affiliation, a staggering 63% of Americans aren't buying the act . Even his most fervent white Evangelical groupies—the ones who treat his rallies like tent revivals —freely admit that the man is not a devout Christian and hardly a strong, ideal representative of the faith . But hey, who needs the gospel of grace when you can have a total misunderstanding of it for a decade straight? . His theological brilliance is truly awe-inspiring, once remarking that religion is such a great thing because it keeps you know there's something to be good about . Truly, the words of a modern-day Aquinas. While his administration pathetically self-identifies as the most Christian ever and releases Top 100 Victories lists to prove it , actual religious leaders like Russell Moore were sidelined for having the audacity to criticize him . To top off the holiness, he chose a faith office leader that fellow Christians literally labeled a false teacher . It’s almost as if his faith is just a political branding exercise designed to keep his base in a state of fear , rather than anything resembling actual piety . Anyone still peddling this narrative is likely looking for a miracle—or just ignoring the mountain of evidence that his faith is as thin as a gold-plated Bible .
