Images You Upload

When you upload an image for fact-checking, the image is sent to Google Gemini for analysis. A copy is stored securely on Supabase to display with the fact-check result. Images are associated with the resulting claim page and are publicly accessible via the shareable link.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Mebro:

• Serper API — Searches the web for credible sources
• Supabase — Stores claims, accounts, and images
• Vercel — Hosts and deploys the application
• YouTube Transcript API — Retrieves video transcripts for analysis

Claims you submit may be processed by these services according to their respective privacy policies.

Cookies

Mebro uses essential session cookies for authentication (via Supabase). We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. We do not use tracking cookies or sell your data.

Data Retention

Fact-check results and associated images are stored indefinitely to maintain shareable links. Account information is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time via the Delete Account page or by contacting us.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, visit delete-account.
