“According to the Bible, Jesus is god”
Hello there! I'd be happy to help you understand what the Bible says about this. Based on the sources provided, it is true that according to the Bible, Jesus is God . While some scholars note that the first three Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) do not record Jesus using those exact words to describe himself , many other parts of the New Testament are very explicit. In fact, one source highlights 10 specific instances where the Bible directly calls Jesus God . Nearly every book in the New Testament makes the claim in various ways, suggesting that he is the eternal Son of the Father who is truly God . Early followers and disciples also concluded that Jesus is God based on his life, actions, and claims, which led to charges of blasphemy under Jewish law at the time . So, while the phrasing varies across different books, the overarching biblical message is that Jesus is divine .
