“Thomas Frank deserved to be sacked by Spurs.”
TL;DR ·Consensus among sports media and professionals confirms Frank's performance justified his dismissal from Tottenham.
Thomas Frank was dismissed as Tottenham Hotspur head coach in February 2026 after approximately eight months in the role . The decision followed a "dreadful spell" where Frank collected only 29 points from 26 league matches . Statistical analysis reveals a severe decline in form, including just two wins in his final 17 Premier League games . Professional peer Ange Postecoglou publicly stated that Frank "deserved" the outcome and "should have no complaints" regarding his sacking . Ultimately, the club's board acted after the team began sliding towards the relegation zone following a 2-1 home defeat against Newcastle .
