FACT CHECK #DY8G-HPG

WHAT WE FOUND

Modern neuroscience utilizes imaging technologies such as fMRI and PET scans to demonstrate that humans use virtually all of their brain 58. High-credibility sources from Harvard and MIT clarify that the idea of only using ten percent is a scientific myth 35. Data reveals that even simple tasks require activity across almost all brain regions 1112. Furthermore, studies show that there is widespread ongoing activity even while the body is at rest or sleeping 9. Experts emphasize that virtually every part of the brain serves a function and is engaged during various cognitive or physiological processes 67.
