In the most prominent bridge-related fatality reported on June 13, 2026, a 25-year-old woman named Sajia died following a high-speed Mercedes-Benz crash on the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway near Hoskote (Deccan Herald). While she died at the scene, official police reports clarify that she was killed by the impact inside the car; it was the driver, a man identified as Rizwan, who was thrown from the vehicle and fell off the bridge into the riverbed (LatestLY). Additionally, a viral video from May 2026 showing a woman falling from a bridge in Mexico did not result in a fatality, as the victim survived with critical injuries (ABC4). While a woman did die from a fall off a bridge in Weber Canyon, Utah, in January 2026 (Gephardt Daily), current reports from June 13, 2026, do not support the claim that a woman died specifically from a fall.
