“Teardown of the UFC arena begins on Monday morning.”
TL;DR ·Judicial rulings and event schedules confirm the temporary UFC arena disassembly starts Monday morning.
A judicial ruling has confirmed that the UFC arena on the White House South Lawn, nicknamed the claw, will be disassembled starting Monday morning, June 15, 2026 . The 4,300-seat temporary stadium was constructed to host a fight on Flag Day, Sunday, June 14, which coincides with President Trump's 80th birthday . While some early social media images were flagged as AI-generated , major outlets including the BBC and Reuters documented the physical construction of the massive structure . Despite suggestions from the President that the arena could become a permanent fixture , the court noted the structure is temporary and disassembly is scheduled to begin immediately following the fight night . UFC CEO Dana White has reportedly allocated $700,000 to replace the grass damaged during the event .
