“Donald Trump pardoned a man who had been sentenced to seven years in prison for repairing his own car, truck, or tractor.”
TL;DR ·Donald Trump confirmed he pardoned a man sentenced to seven years for repairing a vehicle.
Hi there! I'd be happy to help you clarify this. It is actually true that President Trump recently issued a pardon for a man who had been sentenced to seven years in prison . During a reveal in June 2026, Trump explained that he granted the pardon because the individual 'had to go to jail because he was fixing his tractor or his truck' . This decision is one of many recent acts of clemency in his second term, which have also included high-profile figures such as Trevor Milton of Nikola and Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance . While many of these other pardons addressed financial crimes, securities fraud, or billion-dollar frauds , the President specifically highlighted this tractor-related case as an example of an unfair sentence he chose to overturn .
