WHAT WE FOUND

Because the image in question was not provided for analysis, it is impossible to verify what it depicts. Regarding the temporal claim, sources differ on the exact start date of socialism in Cuba, making the 66 years figure a close but inconsistent approximation. Fidel Castro officially proclaimed the socialist character of the revolution in April 1961 46. By the current date of June 29, 2026, this would represent a duration of 65 years. However, other sources state that the adoption of socialism occurred in 1959 7, which would result in a 67-year duration. While a 2023 source titled 62 Years of Socialism 9 aligns with the 1961 anchor, the 1979 Constitution also formally defines the state as a socialist republic 1. Without the visual evidence or a definitive consensus on the start year (1959, 1960, or 1961), the claim remains unverified.
