WHAT WE FOUND

Hello! I'd be happy to help you clear this up. While several news outlets recently reported that Donald Trump made this statement during a tense phone call on June 1, 2026 124, we can't confirm if the statement itself is factually true. During a dispute over military actions in Beirut, Trump reportedly told Benjamin Netanyahu, 'you'd be in prison if it weren't for me' 26. It is well-documented that Netanyahu has been facing a long-running trial for bribery and fraud since 2019 35, but there is no verified evidence showing that Trump’s intervention is the reason he has avoided incarceration 7. Since this is a reported quote from a heated argument rather than a confirmed fact, the claim remains unverified! 1234
